Our orders are shipped Monday to Wednesday every week.

Orders received before 12pm leave the same day and orders received after 12pm leave the following day.

Please note that orders received after 12pm on Wednesday can be shipped on Thursday however this incurs and extra freight charge due to weekend delivery.

This is also the case with orders placed on Thursday and Friday so we recommend that wherever possible all orders are placed between Monday and Wednesday to avoid these extra charges.

Next day delivery is available for an additional fee. Please contact us if you require weekend or next day delivery.

All orders are shipped via Federal Express of DHL

A Driver Release is put on all packages so that they may be left at the door. If delivering to a multi-unit building, the driver may require someone be present to receive the package in person, so please plan accordingly. No PO Box addresses allowed.

We are unable to deliver food packages to PO boxes, FPO's or APO's. We only deliver lobster packages within the United States.

Major holidays and weather conditions may change delivery availability. Call early to place a Christmas Week, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Father's Day order. We reserve the right to make product substitutions of equal or greater value, if items become unavailable.

Please make sure the addresses you provide us are complete and correct. Casco Bay Seafood LLC cannot accept responsibility for incorrect shipping addresses.

All prices subject to change without notice due to the nature of the industry. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur.

Please note that it is the responsibility of you the customer to ensure that someone is available to either take delivery of your lobster or at the very least make sure someone is going to be home at some point on the day your lobsters arrive.

Although our lobsters will still be frozen when they arrive, its important to understand that they must be returned to the freezer or refrigerator until your ready for your lobster meal. If you plan to eat your lobsters within four days of there arrival then the refrigerator is fine. If you're planning for a future event then return them to the freezer provided that they have not started to defrost. See important notes below.

Casco Bay Seafood LLC must advise that once your lobsters have been delivered and we have received confirmation from the freight company, the lobsters are your responsibility. There are many variables beyond the control of Casco Bay Seafood LLC after the delivery and we trust and appreciate your understanding of this.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

In relation to Maine frozen lobster tails, Casco Bay Seafood LLC is unable to ship Maine lobster tails to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This is a requirement set by the Massachusetts Dept. Of Fisheries & Wildlife, and the New Hampshire Dept. Of Natural Resources and we must comply with this requirement in association with the local lobster industry.

Due to the many variables involved with shipping, if your lobsters arrive partially defrosted or completely defrosted, DO NOT RE-FREEZE. Re-freezing food can result in a loss in quality and has the potential to cause food poisoning. Simply place your lobsters in the refrigerator where they can remain safely for up to four (4) days.
